Good morning friends, here I'm back again may be after a year. IPL is like EPL of cricket. Each day my friends ask which top 4 teams will qualify for Playoffs and discuss it for hours in office, well not for hours but yes at the lunch table or whenever they get free time. You can see the points table below .
Now I know we have 9 teams in IPL but I don't think last two teams have anything worth mentioning about them if we talk about playoffs lol,the top 4 man, let's dig this further.
So in current situation if someone wins 11 matches (22 points) than its clear like water from spring that they will not only be in playoff but can qualify as Top 2 teams, at this time I think a team needs at least 9 matches(18points) to qualify, Unless something totally unexpected happens and SRH and RCB loses all of their remaning matches and Kolkata or Punjab win their remaining matches with a huge margin of 100 runs or more they are out of the picture.
Next two matches are very important and lets see in following table what will happen if we get these results .
